‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ Season 2 Announced

The Ultimate Spider-Man has been picked up for a second season by the Disney XD Network. Making the big announcement, David Levine, the Vice President and General Manager, shared with fans that since the series has been a huge success since its April debut the network has decided to renew the animated series for a second season.

“The Disney XD audience has connected with Spider-Man and his super-powered friends as they face challenges in school and with their S.H.I.E.L.D. training. As the anchor of our Marvel Universe block, ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ season two will be back with more humor, villains and adventurous storylines that boys (and girls) will love,” Levine stated.

The head of Marvel Television, Jeph Loeb, also spoke out about the renewal of the show that ranks high for boys within the age range of 2-14. “We are very excited about the return of ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ inside the Marvel Universe on Disney XD. With season two, the series introduces popular Marvel heroes and villains you’ve never seen before on the small screen. With more action, more excitement, more humor, this is the ‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ for fans of all ages.” The Marvel characters Loeb is talking about includes the famous team of The Avengers that just broke box office records.

‘Ultimate Spider-Man’ airs in its usual timeslot on Sundays at 11:00 a.m. ET/PT on Marvel Universe on Disney XD. The series comes from producers Marvel Animation. Are you excited over the pick-up? Let us know below.
