‘The Walking Dead’ Obstacle Course To Be Featured At Comic-Con

Fans of the hit zombie series The Walking Dead will be thrilled with the latest news being reported by EW. According to the news outlet this year’s annual Comic-Con will feature an obstacle course for fans of the AMC series.

The big event will be held at the San Diego Petco Park this coming summer, running July 12th through the 15th. The same weekend of Comic-Con. The event is called ‘The Walking Dead Escape: San Diego’ with fans able to participate as a survivor, trying to stay alive as they attempt to make their way through “a zombie-infested evacuation zone, as a Walker, or as a spectator.”

Talking about the course the show’s executive producer issued a statement about the special, realistic interactive set-up that they will make them feel like part of the show. “Our fans have been reading about it, watching it and now they get to live it with The Walking Dead Escape,” Robert Kirkman shared. We are literally transforming Petco Park into the early days of society’s collapse and San Diego is just the first city to fall.”

The Escape obstacle course is in celebration of The Walking Dead’s 100th issue of the comic book that is scheduled to be published on July 11th.
