As fans know, the long-running ‘CSI’ spin-off is set in New York and currently stars Gary Sinise as Detective Mac Taylor and Sela Ward as Jo Danville, who took over for lead actress Melina Kanakaredes in 2010.

Meanwhile, ‘A Gifted Man’ starred film and stage star Patrick Wilson as Dr. Michael Hot, an ultra-competitive surgeon whose life was changed forever when his ex-wife (Jennifer Ehle) died and began teaching him what life is all about from the here-after. [Source: TV Line]

The news for ‘CSI: NY’ came shortly after the show’s finale, which aired on Friday, May 11 while the last new episode of ‘A Gifted Man’ aired back in March, but, sadly, the writing was already on the wall for this show early on due to low ratings.
