Netflix Will Release All New Episodes Of ‘Arrested Development’ Together

Arrested Development cast

Mashable has shared the news that Netflix plans to release all ten of the new upcoming episodes of the cult classic Arrested Development all at once. The digital platform has decided they will drop the entire fourth season of the quirky comedy “sometime next year,” a representative announced while attending the event for National Association of Broadcasters.

The release of the 10 new episodes of ‘Arrested Development’ comes after the series went off the air six years ago in 2006 due to lackluster ratings. Discussing their highly anticipated return, the show’s creator Mitchell Hurwitz shared that fans can expect to see a focus on each character during each new show.

If all goes well Hurowitz spoke about the possibility of a fifth and sixth season of the series on Netflix, but fans will have to wait and see how the show fares in the rumored first half of 2013. Production with the cast and crew will kick off this summer.

‘Arrested Development’ stars Jason Bateman (Horrible Bosses), Michael Cera (Juno, Superbad), Porsha di Rossi (Ally McBeal), Will Arnett (Up All Night), Alicia Shawkat (Three Kings), Tony Hale (Stronger Than Fiction), David Cross (Kung Fu Panda), Jeffrey Tambor (There’s Something About Mary), Jessica Walter (Archer, The Big Bang Theory), and long time actor Ron Howard, who is the show’s narrator, of ‘Happy Days’.
