Ringer “If You’re Just An Evil Bitch Then Get Over It” Review

Ringer If You're Just An Evil Bitch Then Get Over It Episode 20

Ringer has started to feel a bit like Fatal Attraction (minus the boiling bunnies… for now) in this week’s episode “If You’re Just An Evil Bitch Then Get Over It”. As the title suggests, Catherine is insane and has finally gone off the deep end when it comes to Andrew.

Poor Juliet is stuck in the middle of her parents drama, and doesn’t even know if her mother is faking a suicide attempt or if her clinging to her father with slit wrists is legit. This spawned one of the best “Juliet-isms” of the series (and also the title of the episode): “If you’re sick, I want you to get better but if you’re just an evil bitch, then get over it.” Thank you Juliet, I couldn’t have said it better myself.

Catherine not only attempted to have Siobhan and Henry killed, but now she’s taken it on herself to kill Bridget/Siobhan! Moral of the story? Don’t ever take a drink from your husband’s unstable ex-wife. You never know if she’s gone off the deep end and wants you dead.

The final scene in Ringer was a soap opera ending (which, I think we can all admit is when Ringer is at its best), and I just wanted Bridget to hear the phone ringing as Catherine sprinkled the pills over her body.

Henry… well, I’ve stopped caring about Henry, truth be known. He’s pitiful, and sort of boring, and cheated on his wife and seems surprised that her father is upset about this. Not that I believe Henry should go to prison for sleeping around; but when your wife’s husband is rich and influential, maybe be a bit more discreet about your trysts.

Overall, through rough starts and horrible episodes, Ringer has finally found it’s footing as the season draws to a close. The puzzle pieces are clicking together and the Siobhan/Bridget mystery is (somewhat) starting to make sense!

I’m sure we’ll be left with a huge cliffhanger in the finale, but I can’t say I’d be disappointed with that. What are your thoughts of the path of Ringer?
