‘Terra Nova’ Not to Continue On After All March 27, 2012 News, Terra Nova FOX cancelled the dinosaur, time-travel series Terra Nova, but as of two weeks ago there was a glimmer of hope for the show, as we reported here, in the form of Netflix attempting to negotiate a deal with 20th Century Fox. But as of today, courtesy of a report by Deadline, that potential deal has fallen through. It was the intentions of Netflix to continue the series in much the same way that 20th Century has done with ‘Family Guy’, ‘Futurama’ and ‘Arrested Development’. ‘Terra Nova’ debuted in the fall of 2011 for a 13-episode run, chronicling the Shannon film who were transported back 85 million years in the past – to a pre-historic Earth – giving them and many other inhabitants from the future a second chance. The cast included Jason O’Mara and Stephen Lang.
