Geek Queen Felicia Day to Hack Her Way Onto ‘Supernatural’

Felicia Day

Don’t let that title fool you, geek queen and actress Felicia Day won’t be hacking her way into the hearts (or bodies) of the Winchester brothers (Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles) on Supernatural, but she will be hacking her way into computers.

According to the TV Guide, Day will guest star in the fan favorite CW series on April 27 in an episode entitled “The Girl with the Dungeons and Dragons Tattoo”. Of course the episode title is a play on words in reference to the big-screen adaptations of the best-selling novel “The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo” by late author Steig Larsson.

Day will play a girl named Charlie who is “sort of a lowly tech working in one of Dick Roman’s (James Patrick Stewart)companies,” says Executive Producer Sera Gamble. “She’s an amateur computer hacker and unwittingly gets wrapped up in Sam and Dean’s problems. It’s a classic story of an everyday girl who does not want to be in a whistleblower position”.

Among Day’s credits are roles on ‘Buffy the Vampire Slayer’, the online sensation from Joss Whedon ‘Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog’ and ‘Dollhouse’. Day is also the writer and star of the original web series ‘The Guild’ that follows a guild of online gamers.

The next new episode of ‘Supernatural’, which is now in its seventh season, will air on The CW this Friday, March 23 at 9/8c.
