Sci-Fi Hunk Ben Browder to Appear on ‘Doctor Who’

It was announced via this month’s Doctor Who Magazine that popular sci-fi actor Ben Browder will guest star in an upcoming episode of Doctor Who.

He will appear in the third episode of the 7th season of the longest-running sci-fi series of all time that will be written by ‘Being Human’ creator and frequent ‘Doctor Who’ contributor Toby Whithouse. The episode will be set in the Wild Wild West, but no details have been leaked on what character for which Browder will play.

The episode will actually be filmed in Madrid, Spain and it was reported that all three of the main cast of ‘Doctor Who’ – Matt Smith, Karen Gillan and Arthur Darvill – have been recently spotted in the city.

As sci-fi fans know, Browder starred as lost astronaut John Crichton for four season on ‘Farscape” and then appeared as Lt. Colonel Cameron Mitchell for two seasons on ‘Stargate SG-1’. More recently he appeared in one of the final episodes of ‘Chuck’.

New episodes of ‘Doctor Who’ are not expected until this fall. [Source: Blastr]
