Interviews: Jason Isaacs and The Cast of NBC’s ‘Awake’ [Videos]

My favorite pilot from NBC for the 2011-2012 season, Awake is finally premiering tonight, March 1st at 10pm.

The series follows detective Michael Britten (Jason Isaacs, “Harry Potter,”Brotherhood”), a man who cannot distinguish between the two lives he’s living. In one his wife, Hannah (Laura Allen, “Terriers,” “The 4400”) has died and in the other it is his son, Rex (Dylan Minnette, “Saving Grace”), who is dead. One is obviously a dream world while the other is reality, but which is which? And how can Michael figure that out when they both look so real?

The way the two worlds are created is pretty brilliant, because you almost don’t want him to figure out which is which because you care about characters in both worlds so much. In addition, the cool thing about the show is that because Michael is a detective, each world helps him in solving cases.

TV Equals was invited to the set along with other reporters to talk with the cast and executive producers about the show. So I’ll just let them tell you what exciting things you can expect from Awake.

Below you will find the video interviews for Jason Isaacs (“Michael Britten”), Laura Allen (“Hannah”), Michaela McManus (“Tara”), Dylan Minnette (“Rex”), Wilmer Valderrama (“Detective Efrem Vega”), Steve Harris (“Detective Isaiah “Bird” Freeman”), BD Wong (“Dr. Lee”), Cherry Jones (“Dr. Evans”), and Executive Producers Howard Gordon and Kyle Killen.
