Lisa Edelstein Is Not Returning For ‘House’ Series Finale

House fans won’t be happy about this latest news from TV Line. Actress Lisa Edelstein is not returning for the medical drama’s series finale. An inside source has spoken with TV Line, confirming the bad news that Edelstein’s Cuddy will not be showing up in the May 21st, news she shared with the news outlet last summer in August.

“I haven’t talked to anyone over there so it would seem unlikely. Who knows what I’ll be doing. I have a lot on my plate. I wouldn’t want to answer that and get anyone’s hopes up. It doesn’t seem like that’s the direction anyone is going in.”

While the series’ creator David Shore did say he would “love” to have he actress back for one last goodbye, fans have still been left in the dark as to why Lisa Edelstein isn’t making a return. ‘House’ show runners did however share some good news. Following the medical drama’s finale fans will get to see a special one hour long look back at the series that starred Hugh Laurie.

Lisa Edelstein has appeared in ‘American Dad’, ‘The Good Wife’, ‘King of the Hill’, ‘Justice League’, ‘Judging Amy’, and more. Are you sad to see that Lisa Edelstein won’t be returning to the long running Fox series?
