Heroes Actor Sendhil Ramamurthy Headed To ‘The Office’

Heroes actor Sendhil Ramamurthy is headed to The Office to stir up trouble according to TV Guide. Ramamurthy, who played Mohinder Suresh from 2006 through 2010 on Heroes, is scheduled to star in the series as an Indian doctor who sweeps Kelly (Mindy Kaling) off her feet. Talking with TV Guide, The Office’s Ryan (B.J. Novak) shared some details of what’s to come for the couple.

“We go through a heart-wrenching break-up,” Novak shared with TV Guide. “Ryan and Kelly end up becoming bitter enemies in the office when she falls in love with an Indian doctor. He’s very handsome and a much, much better match for Kelly than Ryan is.”

Ramamurthy’s guest appearance on ‘The Office’ should be airing later in the season. The thirty-eight year old actor’s credits include his current role as the character Jai on the USA Network’s action drama ‘Covert Affairs’. The Illinois native has also appeared in ‘CSI:Miami’, ‘Love and Debate’, Grey’s Anatomy, ‘Bling Dating’, ‘The Evidence’, the crime series ‘Numb3rs’ the soap opera ‘Guiding Light’, the series ‘Ultimate Force’, and ‘Casualty’.
