‘Mad Men’ Set To Premiere This Coming March

Deadline has dropped the news Mad Men fans have been dying to hear. The AMC drama will reportedly be making a comeback after a very long and frustrating hiatus from the air due to contract negotiation problems. The show, that is rumored to run for a total of seven seasons, is slated to return in its fifth season on March 25th 2012.

The hit series, from creator Matthew Weiner, that stars actors Jon Hamm, Elisabeth Moss, Vincent Kartheiser, January Jones, Christina Hendricks, and more, has managed to surpass recent 60’s themed series that have been picked up by different, but ultimately failed to grab a fan base and ratings like ‘Mad Men’ has.

The details of Mad Men’s return was dropped by lead actor Jon Hamm himself while speaking on comedian Doug Benson’s podcast, ‘Doug Loves Movies’, just recently. It’s unclear as to why AMC has yet to reveal the series return in what would be a great way to promote its hit show, and amp up fans who have all been sitting idle upon its return.

While the AMC Network has yet to officially confirm the news, they plan to present at the Television Critics Association, a time when show runners could decide to make the big announcement. Tell us what you think ‘Mad Men’ fans, are you ready to see your favorite drama make its return?
