Box Office Adaptation of FOX’s ’24’ Finally Getting Made

Kiefer Sutherland

While attending this month’s winter press tour of the Television Critics Association, actor Kiefer Sutherland talked about the long-rumored box office adaptation of his long-running hit series 24. It looks like fans can rejoice as the series is going to finally make it to the big screen.

According to Sutherland, the box office version will start “filming at the end of April, beginning of May”. Also, when asked about how much time will have transpired between the events of the series finale, Sutherland said the movie will be “relatively a direct continuation; we’re talking maybe six months from the end of that episode”.

The feature will “cover a 24-hour crisis period, though not set in real time like the TV series, but rather over the course of the two-hour (or however long) running time”.

Howard Gordon, the series producer, and actress Mary Lynn Rajskub, who played Chloe throughout the entire course of the series, will be involved in the box office version. [Source: TV Line]
