Howard Stern Announced As New Judge On ‘America’s Got Talent’

Longtime radio personality Howard Stern has signed on to NBC’s America’s Got Talent as a judge for the seventh season. NBC’s President of Alternative and Late Night Programming, Paul Telegdy, made the announcement about Stern’s new surprising role on the summer series.

“Howard Stern’s larger-than-life personality will bring a thrilling new dynamic to America’s Got Talent starting this summer. He’s a proven innovator and his track record in broadcasting is truly remarkable. Howard is very passionate about this show and is fully committed to its future success.”

It was also confirmed that Howard Stern will continue on with his SiriusXM radio show since America’s Got Talent will be relocating to New York. The hit show comes from producers Freemantle Media North and SYCO Television from Simon Cowell. Executive producers on the series include Cecile Frot-Coutaz, Jason Raff, Ken Warwick, Georgie Hurford-Jones, and Simon Cowell as well.

Stern’s work in television over the years includes his TV series Howard Stern on Demand, as well as The Larry Sanders Show and Ryder P.I.. He has also produced and directed episodes of Son of the Beach.
