‘The League’ Season 4 Announced

The FX Network has placed an order for thirteen additional episodes of the hilarious comedy The League. Bringing the show into its fourth season, Nick Grad of the network, who is in charge of original programming made the announcement.

“’The League’ continues to be one of our most successful comedy series both creatively and from a ratings standpoint,” Nick Grad shared. “Jackie and Jeff Schaffer, along with our terrific cast, are doing wonderful work each week to make one of the funniest shows on television and we’re excited to order another season.”

Currently in its third season, ‘The League’ has three episodes left before the big finale. The series comes from creators Jeff Schaffer and Jackie Schaffer, who also direct and produce the comedy. Adding their excitement over the pick-up, they both issued a statement over the good news.

“We are thrilled to do more shows with a cast that makes us laugh hard everyday, on a network that actually lets us put those jokes on air. In the words of Taco: ‘The League’ on FX on Thursday nights is a law, like water or dinosaurs.”
