Eastbound & Down Season 3 and Life’s Too Short Premiere Date Announced

Eastbound and Down

HBO has announced the premiere dates for the new season of Eastbound & Down and its new series Life’s Too Short.

‘Eastbound & Down’ returns for its eight-episode third season on Sunday, February 19 at (10:00-10:30 p.m. ET/PT), immediately followed by the debut of the seven-episode season of the new show ‘Life’s Too Short’ (10:30-11:00 p.m.).

Starring Danny McBride and executive produced by Will Ferrell, Adam McKay, Chris Henchy, Jody Hill and Danny McBride, ‘Eastbound & Down’ tells the story of Kenny Powers, a star pitcher whose self-destructive behavior knocks him out of major league baseball, leaving him broke, delusional and desperate to regain his former glory.

‘Life’s Too Short’ is a faux documentary starring actor Warwick Davis (the “Harry Potter” and “Star Wars” films) as a fictionalized version of himself: a down-and-out little person desperately trying to hustle and connive his way back into the spotlight. Written, directed and executive produced by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, the show features cameos by top stars, including Johnny Depp, Sting and Steve Carell, along with Gervais and Merchant playing themselves in minor roles.
