A Quintet of Actors To Recur on ARMY WIVES

Army Wives (Lifetime) - Cast

An interesting quintet of actors will be joining the cast of the popular Lifetime military drama ARMY WIVES on a recurring basis.

It was first reported here that actress Kelli Williams, best known for her recent work on FOX’s recently canceled Lie to Me, will appear in at least seven episodes of the series as Jackie Clarke, the ambitious and well-educated spouse of a general who brings a whole new set of challenges to the wives — specifically Claudia Joy (Kim Delaney).

Then, it was announced here that soap opera legend Susan Lucci (All My Children) will appear as the wife of a retired general who gives Claudia Joy valuable advice to how to deal with her rival, the aforementioned character to be played by Williams.

Lucci is expected to appear in at least two episodes of the series.

The last casting announcement included the appearances by actress Kellie Martin (ER and Life Goes On) as Nicole, a member of the military police; actress Ryan Michelle Bathe of Boston Legal fame (who is also the real-life wife of series regular Sterling K. Brown) as the head of the Youth Center and actor Robert John Burke (Rescue Me and Gossip Girl) as an ultra-competitive general and the husband of Williams’ character, Jackie.

Army Wives will be back on Lifetime for its sixth season sometime next spring.
