CBS has canceled its comedy series HOW TO BE A GENTLEMAN after airing only a handful of episode air this Fall. According to EW production on the show that featured Entourage alumni Kevin Dillon, AKA Johnny ‘Drama’ Chase, and actor David Hornsby (It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Fanboy and Chum Chum) was shut down immediately following lackluster ratings.

An adaption from the novel of John Bridges, the television series followed two former high school acquaintances, columnist Andrew Carlson (Hornsby) and an Iraq war veteran Bert Lansing (Dillion), who become roommates. With an Odd Couple edge, the show only managed to muster 42 out of 100 in the ratings from Metacritic. The series was created by lead star Hornsby himself. Unfortunately it didn’t do well with viewers.

How To Be A Gentleman joins the recently axed NBC series The Playboy Club with Amber Heard and Eddy Ciberian, the Hank Azuria and Kathryn Hahn’s comedy Free Agents, and CW’s H8R>, the reality show that featured celebrities coming face to face with their real life haters.

The CBS Network has yet to announce what they plan to fill the empty timeslot. Is the cancellation of How To Be A Gentleman justified? Let us know what you think below.
