TV Big Leaguers J.J. Abrams and Eric Kripke Join Forces for REVOLUTION

NBC has greenlit a project from executive producers, show creators extraordinaire J.J. Abrams (Lost, Alias and Felicity) and Eric Kripke (Supernatural) that is tentatively being called REVOLUTION.

Very little is known about this new project save its name and this one description: it will be “an epic adventure
thriller”. But, Kripke is writing the pilot and Abrams’ production company Bad Robot and Warner Bros. are producing it with Abrams, Kripke and Bryan Burk (a long-time collaborator of Abrams) being the executive producers. [Source: Deadline]

One has to wonder with 2 new shows in production – Person of Interest and Alcatraz – as well as having Fringe currently on the air in addition to a Star Trek sequel on his schedule, where Abrams will find the time for this new project, though. Meanwhile, Kripke is also working on an adaptation of the DC Comic Deadman for The CW and WBTV.
