Cougar Town’s Dan Byrd Headed To SUBURGATORY

Awesome news! Cougar Town fans will be getting some extra screen time with their favorite star Dan Byrd this season. The actor, best known for his role in the Courteney Cox comedy as Travis Cobb, has signed on to star in ABC’s new series SUBURGATORY that stars Jeremy Sisto (Law and Order), Alan Tudyk (Young Justice), Caily Chaikin (The Last Song), and Allie Grant (Weeds).

Byrd will show up in the eleventh episode of Suburgatory as the character Josh Sherman. According to TV Line, he is the latest Chatswin High transplant, and “Tessa’s (Jane Levy) new ally — or so she thinks. Though he seems hip and trustworthy, Josh also appears to be harboring a secret.”

As for when Cougar fans will see Byrd back in his regular role, the network still has yet to let fans in on when Cox’s series will be back this year. Meanwhile, Dan Byrd has been seen over the years in the TV comedy Community, Heroes, ABC Family’s Greek, the short lived show Aliens in America, Ghost Whisperer, Boston Legal, Pepper Dennis and the series Clubhouse.

Suburgatory airs on ABC Wednesdays at 8:30 pm est. Will you be tuning in to watch the Cougar star show up in the suburbs?
