IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA Season 7 Returns Tonight – Get Read For Outrageousness!

IT'S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA season 7 Glenn Howerto
Ah IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, how I have missed you and all your scandalous ways! Yes, that’s right our favorite bar owners return to our small screens tonight, September 15th, at 10pm on FX.

I was lucky enough to get an early peek at the first four episodes and they are each more hilarious and outrageous as the other, and in order to get you excited for this new season, how about I give you a taste of what you’re in for this season?

A Big Mac

One of the biggest and most noticeable changes this season is Mac’s weight gain. And no it’s not just padding, actor (and creator) Rob McElhenney actually packed on the weight for this new season.

The weight gain is definitely addressed in the first episode of course in It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia style.

A Trip to The Jersey Shore

Well, you knew It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia had to take advantage of the Jersey Shore “phenomenon,” and oh do they use it in their typical vile ways.

Trust me by the end of the trip, you’ll never want to visit Jersey Shore again… well unless you’re Charlie, but that’s all I’ll say about that.

A Creepy Child Pageant

Turns out I’m not the only one who finds child pageantry creepy and just wrong, but no one could make it more cringy than Frank. Oh yes, this storyline involves Frank and all his Frank-y ways.

That episode is definitely a fun one and there is even a wink (or if it wasn’t intentional it should have been) at Danny De Vito’s Penguin character in Batman Returns.

An Audition Gone Bad

The IRS makes an appearance to audit Sweet Dee, but things turn bad really soon when Dee relies on the guys to help her get out of it… let’s just say blood will literally be shed.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia is definitely back and as strong as it’s ever been. Don’t these guys ever run out of ideas to be despicable people? Turns out they haven’t so far.

So if you love It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia, make sure you don’t miss its return tonight, September 15th at 10pm on FX. And for the non-fans, how about giving an episode a try?
