Golden Globe Nominee Sarah Paulson To Guest Star on AMERICAN HORROR STORY

Actress Sarah Paulson, who is a Golden Globe nominee from her stint on the short-lived Aaron Sorkin series Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip, will appear in a four-episode arc of the much-anticipated FX thriller series AMERICAN HORROR STORY.

She will, according to E! Online, appear as a medium named Billie Dean, who is enlisted to char with the spirits that are roaming around the spooky house recently occupied by the Harmon family (played by Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton and Taissa Farmiga).

Most of Paulson’s scenes, however, will be with legendary film actress Jessica Lange, who she starred opposite in the Broadway play The Glass Menagerie.

TV viewers will also recognize Paulson from her work on shows such as the remake of Cupid, Deadwood and a recent appearance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She has also appeared in the telefilm November Christmas and the box films Martha Marcy May Marlene, The Spirit and a cameo in Serenity.

American Horror Story will debut on FX on October 5 at 10/9c.
