Scrub’s Starlet Sarah Chalke Is Headed To COUGAR TOWN

Scrub’s very own Sarah Chalke has been tapped to guest star in a recurring role on Courteney Cox’s COUGAR TOWN. Revealed exclusively by TV Line, show runners have nabbed the former Mad Love star to play a love interest of Brian Van Holt’s character Bobby. Joining the third season, Chalke’s character Angie is described as a “natural beauty with a cool vibe who meets Bobby through his son Travis, she’s his photography professor at college.”

Sure to be a plus is Chalke’s first hand knowledge and working experience with Bill Lawrence, the co-creator of Cougar Town, and former show runner of Scrubs, as pointed out by TV Line. The actress joins the long list of alumni from the quirky medical drama that have previously popped up in Cougar Town – Sam Lloyd, Ken Jenkins, Zack Braff and more.

Chalke’s recent and previous roles include the already mentioned Mad Love where she played the role of Kate Swanson, American Dad, the TV short Prep & Landing Stocking Stuffer: Operation: Secret Santa as the voice of Magee, Maneater and How I Met Your Mother.

Cougar Town is scheduled to roll out a third season with a premiere date yet to be announced by the ABC Network.
