Fringe’s Michael Cerveris Joins PERSON OF INTEREST

Fringe producer J.J. Abrams is bringing his talent with him! The brains behind Super 8 has inked a deal with actor Michael Cerveris, with the “ubiquitous Observer” now on board as a guest star in Abrams PERSON OF INTEREST, according to TV Line. Cerveris is slated to appear in an unknown October episode of the new forthcoming fall series.

In case you aren’t up to par on Abrams latest venture with creator Jonathan Nolan, Person of Interest follows Michael Emerson (Lost) in the lead role as a “mysterious billionaire who teams up with a presumed dead ex-CIA agent (James Caviezel) to prevent violent crimes.” Also part of the show is actor Taraji P. Henson (Sister Sister, All of Us), who is set to play the role of Carter.

The fifty year old Michael Cerveris’ prior roles include the TV series Treme, Law & Order: Criminal Intent, Dr. Vegas, The American Embassy, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, among several big screen movie roles in Cirque du Freak: The Vampire’s Assistant, and Stake Land.

Person of Interest is set to make its much awaited premiere on September 22nd at 9/8c on CBS. Are you ready for Abrams new project with the famous Fringe star?
