New Nemesis Announced for Brennan and Booth on BONES

Bones

The seventh season of BONES will not only be bringing a bundle of joy to one of TV’s favorite “will they, won’t they (obviously they did)” couples but also a new nemesis.

The new “big bad” will be Christopher Pellant, played by actor Andrew Leeds from Dirt and Nip/Tuck, who is described by TV Guide, as a genius “hacktivist,” who landed on the FBI’s radar when he shut down military communications by cracking into both the Senate and the Defense Department’s websites. Now under house arrest, the team is baffled by Pellant’s ability to eemingly carry out a murder spree without setting off the alarm on his ankle monitor”.

Pellant will be a recurring character, who is to be introduced in the final episode of Bones’ shortened fall run, which is taking place because of lead actress Emily Deschanel’s real-life pregnancy.

Executive Producer Stephan Nathan stated that Pellant is “someone who is an extremely odd and fearless foe; (he is a) nefarious character, who we will follow for a little bit this season and perhaps next”.

Bones will have its season premiere on November 3 at 9/8c on FOX.
