Lie To Me Actress Monica Raymund To Guest Star On THE GOOD WIFE

THE GOOD WIFE has added Monica Raymund of Lie To Me fame to their new season! Per TV Guide, Raymund will be appearing in a recurring role as Peter Florrick’s (Chris Noth) prosecuter, and a possible love interest for Cary, played by Gilmore Girls alumn Matt Czuchry.

Here’s what executive producer Michelle King of The Good Wife had to say about Raymund’s casting in the series.”We know she’ll be amazing across from Matt Czuchry, since they get to work together — both professionally, and perhaps more-than-professionally.”

It looks like Cary will have his hands full, since it was also previously reported that Archie Panjabi’s (Kalinda) character and Czuchry’s alter ego could be blurring the lines when it comes to their relationship as co-workers. “Cary’s matured now and the question will be: Is she genuinely attracted to him for sex and love or is it brotherly companionship,” she said.

Sounds like things will be hot and heavy for the cast this season! Meanwhile, Monica Raymund, who is somewhat of a newbie to the biz, will show up at some point in the first half of the season. The actress will also appear in a guest spot on Blue Bloods this season, has been seen in Law and Order, along with several short films.

The Good Wife will return to CBS on September 25th at 9/8c.
