Actor Teddy Sears To Join Cast of AMERICAN HORROR STORY

He may not be a household name (yet), but actor Teddy Sears, who most recently appeared on Torchwood: Miracle Day, just might get a whole lot more attention now that he has joined the cast of the new FX series AMERICAN HORROR STORY.

He will play half of the gay couple who previously owned the haunted house for which Ben and Vivien Harmon (Dylan McDermott and Connie Britton) move into in the debut episode of the series. His other half will be played by Heroes alum Zachary Quinto, as we reported here.

The plan is to have the characters played by Sears and Quinto to first appear in Part 1 of the new show’s Halloween episodes, which is scheduled to air on Wednesday, October 26 with the second part set to air on Halloween night.

TV viewers may recognize Sears from his previous work on Raising the Bar and The Defenders as well as guest appearances on In Plain Sight and Necessary Roughness as well as the made-for-TV movies The Client List and Backyard Wedding.

American Horror Story will debut on FX on October 5 at 10/9c. [Source: Deadline]
