AMC has picked up the new half hour series entitled JJK SECURITY from producers Ken Druckerman (9 By Design) and Banks Tarver (Battle on the Block). Described as a “Southern gothic workplace dramedy” with plent of flare similar to the works of the Coen Brother, JJK Security will air on AMC in 2012.

The network, home to such hit shows like The Walking Dead and Mad Men, has already purchased a total of eight new episodes to fill a 30 minute time slot on their schedule. The unbelievable script, that left executives at the network “speechless,” follows a “small, family-owned private security company located in rural Georgia – a one stop shop for services that range from private investigations to personal protection to neighborhood patrols, and everything in between.”

Each episode of the series will reportedly delve into a new investigation, with on going jobs, the ins and outs of the security business, all while showcasing a character driven plot that AMC hopes to entertain fans with.

With the promise of hilarious on screen characters and an interesting storyline “unlike anything you’ve ever see” before, it looks like AMC’s JJK Security will be another great show to watch. Will you be tuning in? Let us know below.
