Smallville’s Michael Cassidy Joins ARE YOU THERE VODKA? IT’S ME CHELSEA

Former Smallville actor Michael Cassidy, who played Grant Gabriel, a product of the Gemini project, and brief love interest of Lois Lanes’ in the superboy series, has been cast in the forthcoming series ARE YOU THERE VODKA? IT’S ME CHELSEA. Per TV Line, Cassidy will play a handsome, and self assured Harvard graduate, who catches the eye of lead star Laura Prepon (That 70’s Show, October Road). The actor has been cast to replace Jake McDorman (Greek), who has been recast as a bartender, and series regular in the Chelsea Handler comedy show.

Michael Cassidy is slated to make his debut in the series opener. The talented actor brings with him a long list of credentials such as The O.C. where he played Zach Stevens, the sadley demised CW series Privileged as Charlie Hogan, Hidden Palms, and the mystery series Castle.

Are You There Vodka? It’s Me Chelsea, with a cast featured line up that also includes Dana Davis (Prom Night, Raise Your Voice) and Lauren Lapkus (Plastic Hearts, Dreamworld) will debut midseason on the NBC Network.
