Courtney Thorne-Smith Returning to TWO AND A HALF MEN

Melrose Place actress Courtney Thorne-Smith is headed back to the newley revamped TWO AND A HALF MEN this fall. Previously appearing in the series in a ten episode arc as the character Lyndsey McElroy, an ex-girlfriend of Allen’s, Thorne-Smith will once again return for the ninth season according to EW, but with few details revealed about her new role. After finishing out her guest stint this past January, where Allen burns her house to the ground on the show, it may be safe to say she isn’t looking to rekindle her romance with him, but could be returning to bid farewell to Charlie. At one point Allen did suspect the two were secretly dating. Either way fans will have to wait and see in the top secret ninth season.

The former Alley McBeal alumni joins the recently added Judy Greer (Mad Love), who is also scheduled to reprise her guest spot, but as different character completely. Greer will play Bridget, the ex-wife of Ashton Kutcher’s character.

Courtney Thorne-Smith is most notable for roles over the years in According to Jim, the late 90’s TV series Ally, Spin City, LA Law, and Day by Day.

Two and a Half Men will make its return on September 19th at 9pm on CBS.
