Linus Roache To Guest Star On LAW & ORDER: SVU

Linus Roache

Actor Linus Roache (Titanic) has been tapped to appear in LAW & ORDER: SVU, set to reprise his role as ADA Michael Cutter per TV Guide. The forty-seven year star will make his return in SVU’s thirteenth season premiere entitled Scorched Earth with his character now “overseeing the ADAs assigned to the Special Victims Unit.”

Speaking to TV Guide, SVU’s executive producer Warren Leight shared the news that fans will get to see a new side to Roache’s Cutter. “If Cutter was a bit of a hot head in the past, the passage of time and some added responsibility in his new job has made him more mature, and perhaps a bit more jaded.”

Linus Roache also added some insight into his guest appearance and what it will bring to the series. “I learned a lot from my time on Law and Order and it’s going to be interesting to experiment with Cutter’s development in this new context — I think Special Victims is going to be an area where Cutter’s passion for justice can really come forth.”

Roache will show up in the season opener of Law & Order: SVU, scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, September 21st at 10/9c on NBC.
