Former Scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis to Appear on NCIS

Jamie Lee Curtis

Based on two very excited Twitter posts made by series regular Pauley Perrette, which were seemingly picked up by several online news sources (primarily TV Guide), NCIS has added a great guest star – former scream queen herself, Jamie Lee Curtis – to their fall line-up.

Known for her early screen work in such horror flicks as The Fog, Prom Night and the Halloween franchise, Curtis not only comes from film royalty – the late and legendary Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh – but also has an interesting resume of her own.

In NCIS, Curtis will play Charlotte Ryan, a career woman and single mom who works for the Office of the Inspector General in the Defense Department. The character is described as strong and opinionated, and she will spar with Gibbs (Mark Harmon) and the team like never before.

Ironically, this will be a reunion of sorts for Curtis and Harmon, as they co-starred in the 2003 remake of Freaky Friday with Lindsay Lohan. She has also appeared in the box office films Trading Places, A Fish Called Wanda and True Lies.

NCIS will back for its ninth season on September 20 at 8/7c on CBS.
