THE SIMPSONS Go Gaga For Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga will be bringing her famous voice to The Simpsons this coming fall to play herself, and mentor Lisa who is down and out. Revealed by The Hollywood Reporter, Gaga will appear in the episode entitled Lisa Goes Gaga.

Discussing her cameo role in the long running show, Gaga told EW “I make music, but I don’t do voice-overs every day of the week, and their characters are so awesomely convincing and sincere and wild and funny, I had to remind myself constantly of the sincerity of the humor.”

The Edge of Glory singer wasn’t the only one thrilled about her voice work on The Simpsons, actress Yeardley Smith, who is known on the series as Lisa, called Lady Gaga’s stint “extraordinary. I’m stunned that she has time in her schedule that she’s coming to our studio to record.”

Also on tap to appear in the show’s twenty-third season is Breaking Bad‘s Bryan Cranston, Jane Lynch (Glee), Michael Cera (Arrested Development), and Keifer Sutherland (24).

The Simpsons will make their way back to Fox on September 25th.
