Battlestar Galactica Star Tahmoh Penikett Is INNOCENT on TNT

Actor Tahmoh Penikett, best known for his role of Lt. Karl ‘Helo’ Agathon on Battlestar Galactica, has the starring role in the TNT telefilm called INNOCENT, which is based on the Scott Turow book of the same name.

Kicking off TNT’s new Mystery Movie Night franchise, Penikett stars as Jim Brand, a hot-headed, tenacious prosecutor after one guy: Judge Rusty Sabich (Bill Pullman), who has been charged with the murder ofhis wife. The cast of the telefilm includes Marcia Gay Harden (Damages) as Rusty’s wife, Alfred Molina (Law & Order: LA) as the defense attorney and Richard Schiff (The West Wing).

The source material for this telefilm is a sequel to Turow’s bestselling debut, Presumed Innocent, which was made into a big-screen feature starring Harrison Ford as Rusty.

Penikett has also recently starred in the Joss Whedon series Dollhouse and made guest appearances in Human Target and The Killing. He will also appear in the upcoming Syfy Saturday night movie Jabberwocky.
