The Protector’s Miguel Ferrer To Teach DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES

According to TV Line, well-known TV ‘badass’ Miguel Ferrer, best known for his work on Crossing Jordan and currently starring in the Lifetime police drama The Protector, will have a recurring role on the final season of DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES.

He will play the role of Andre Zeller, a renowned and temperamental contemporary artist who is teaching a course at the local college. His character is described as being very demanding of his students, one of whom is part-time illustrator Susan (Teri Hatcher).

Best known for his role on the made-for-TV mini-series The Stand, which was an adaptation of the Stephen King novel, he has also appeared in the films Traffic and The Manchurian Candidate as well as the short-lived remake of Bionic Woman.

Desperate Housewives is back for its eighth and final season on ABC on September 25 at 9/8c.
