Syfy Acquires Season 4 of MERLIN

MERLIN The Coming Of Arthur, Part 2 (10)

Syfy has acquired the fourth season of MERLIN from FremantleMedia Enterprises. And it has been announced that the magic and mystery will return on Syfy in 2012!

In season 4, Camelot is on the brink of a Golden Age. With Morgana now a dangerous outcast, Merlin must use all his power to ensure Arthur fulfills his destiny as the Once and Future King.

Colin Morgan will return as Merlin, alongside Bradley James as Prince Arthur and Angel Coulby as Gwen. Richard Wilson continues to support and advise Merlin as Gaius. And the true depths of Morgana’s character will be further revealed by Katie McGrath. Broken after Morgana’s betrayal, Anthony Head also reprises his role as King Uther. John Hurt remains the Voice of the Great Dragon.

New to the fourth season is Nathaniel Parker as Agravaine. And Gemma Jones and Phil Davis have already been confirmed as guest stars in the respective roles of the Cailleach and ‘The Gleeman’, an old world Circus-master with a dark and sinister secret.

Merlin averaged 1.93 million total viewers in season 3, marking an increase of 12 percent in total viewers compared to season two. Will you be helping the show continue this trend next season?
