TRUE BLOOD “If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin’?” Advance Review

True Blood Season 4 Episode 3 Alcide

TRUE BLOOD “If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin’?” Season 4 Episode 3 – That was one pretty exciting cliffhanger last episode wasn’t it? And it only gets better. Tonight’s episode of True Blood “If You Love Me, Why Am I Dyin’?” starts off where we last left off with Sookie and Eric on the side of the road. But of course we now know that Eric has lost his memory. So let me discuss (and tease) a few of tonight’s exciting moments.

I guess the best way to explain where Eric’s at in this episode is by this simple quote: “I know what I am, I just don’t know who I am.” Oh yeah, this is getting good!

If you are a fan of Eric, you’re going to love this episode because there is so much happening. We are discovering a whole new Eric, who’s a bit innocent and nice. It’s a lot of fun (of course Pam isn’t too happy about this!)

Oh and my favorite moment has to be Eric wearing Jason’s clothes, you don’t want to miss that!

Poor Sookie! She got rid of Bill, but now she needs to babysit Eric. Their interaction in this episode is pretty priceless and she has a few great quotes including my favorites:

“You do not touch me and you most certainly do not bite me.” Sookie to Eric.

“Yeah against my will, so technically you fang-raped me.” Sookie to Eric when he asks her if he bit her before.

How can you not love Sookie?!

So that was an insane cliffhanger for Jason! Turns out Crystal’s a psycho, who knew?! And in this episode it only gets worse. I honestly wonder where Jason’s storyline is going to go, especially now that he has been bitten and also following this episode’s events.

Jessica & Hoyt

Jessica fed on another human than Hoyt and she goes to see Bill for some advice. You’ll have to tune in to see what Jessica decides to do, but things are not looking too good between her and Hoyt.

But, what I really want to talk about is that freaky baby doll that is in their house. It keeps reappearing, and while they don’t make a big deal out of it, I’m guessing it has some sort of meaning. Can’t wait to find out what. Also you’ll never guess what Jessica does with the doll, it’s actually kind of eerie…

Lafayette is freaked out about what they did to Eric and he wants to make things right before he comes after them. I guess if I had been tortured in a dungeon by Eric, I wouldn’t want to get on his bad side either.

I just wish Lafayette would stop hanging out with the witches, they mess with stuff they shouldn’t be messing with. I’ll take the vampires, werewolves and shifters over them any day.

Oh yes, Alcide is back this episode! Well, technically Sookie goes to see him for help, but all that matters is that he’s back right?!

What’s going on with him? I’ll tell you this, he’s living with someone we didn’t expect to see again.

Last episode we found out how Bill became King, and while not much is happening with Bill this episode, I had to mention him because as I was watching the episode I realized that I don’t like Bill without Sookie. Hopefully we’ll get more scenes between these two soon.

Best Moment of the episode

Sookie reading a Charlaine Harris book!!

And this week’s cliffhanger goes to Eric for feeding on somebody he probably shouldn’t.

Don’t forget to tune in and watch True Blood tonight, July 10, at 9pm on HBO.
