Dichen Lachman Re-enters BEING HUMAN’s Vampire Society

Dichen Lachman - Doll House (Fox) - Belonging Party

Dichen Lachman is set to appear in the second season of Syfy’s BEING HUMAN, the U.S. adaptation of the acclaimed BBC original series. The supernatural drama follows the double lives of three roommates, who are trying to keep their alter ego – a ghost, a vampire and a werewolf – secret from the world.

The Hollywood Reporter details that Lachman will play Izumi, “a reclusive, centuries-old vampire royal, whose unexpected return to Boston’s vampire society throws Aidan (Sam Witwer) and the city into disarray.”

After a stint on Dollhouse, Lachman guest starred on CBS’ Hawaii Five-0 and NCIS: Los Angeles. She will soon be seen on Starz’ Torchwood in the episode “Miracle Day: Rendition.”

New episodes of Being Human will air in 2012.

Sidebar: I never watched Dollhouse, so please tell me what you think of Lachman and her acting. However, I did just watch Russell Tovey, one of the actors on BBC’s Being Human, in the British TV mini-series Little Dorrit. He was good in it!
