Terry O’Quinn Goes Back To The Island For HAWAII 5-0

Yesterday, we mentioned that Lost alum Evangeline Lilly was returning to the entertainment world via Peter Jackson’s The Hobbit – and more news concerning our favorite Lost actors keeps coming. According to TVLine, fan favorite Terry O’Quinn will be going back to the island with a high-profile recurring role on HAWAII 5-0.

The gig marks O’Quinn’s return to television since the ABC series ended last May, and in addition to bringing him back to Hawaii, also reunites him with fellow Lostie Daniel Dae Kim, who plays Chin Ho. O’Quinn’s character will be a Navy Seal Lt. Commander who has strong ties to Alex O’Loughlin’s Steve McGarrett, having served with his father. Reportedly, the character will hold some answers to the on-going mystery surrounding the murders of McGarrett’s mother and father.

Initially, O’Quinn was set to star in the new ABC pilot Hallelujah, a project from Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry. However, the show unfortunately failed to make it into the fall line-up.

How excited are you for Terry O’Quinn to return to Hawaii and television? As a huge Lost fan, he was one of my favorite characters and I can’t wait to see him on my screen again!
