THE VOICE Getting Louder: Two-Hour Episodes Start Next Month

Love the NBC’s THE VOICE and want to see more of it? Well, you’re going to get your wish because NBC has announced that beginning June 7, the vocal competition series will air expanded two-hour live episodes, airing from 9-11pm eastern/8-10 central immediately following original episodes of America’s top-rated summer show America’s Got Talent.

After the “battle” rounds of The Voice, which will air Tuesdays from 10-11pm eastern/9-10 central through May 31, the series will then broadcast the live two-hour episodes on Tuesdays from June 7 through June 28.

America’s Got Talent will still debut on Tuesday, May 31 as previously scheduled, but will now air from 8-10pm eastern/7-9 central and then air Tuesdays from 8-9pm eastern/7-8 central beginning June 7. Starting Wednesday, June 1, the second night of America’s Got Talent will air from 9-10pm eastern/8-9 central. The live shows begin on Tuesday, July 5 with America’s Got Talent sliding into the Tuesday 9-11pm eastern/8-10 central timeslot for the remainder of the summer season as previously scheduled. Result shows will air on Wednesdays from 9-10pm eastern/8-9 central.
