IT’S ME CHELSEA May 13, 2011 NBC, News After first picking up four shows, then three shows, NBC has picked up yet another four new comedies for its 2011-2012 TV season. Bent – A new romantic comedy starring Amanda Peet as a recently-divorced single mom who’s fighting an intense attraction to her contractor. The series also stars David Walton. BFFs – A low-budget comedy from Upright Citizens Brigade alums Lennon Parham and Jessica St. Clair, who also star. Are You There Vodka? It’s Me, Chelsea – A multicamera comedy based on Chelsea Handler’s book and starring Laura Prepon (That ’70s Show) as Chelsea. Free Agents – An adaptation of the British romance comedy in which two quirky co-workers are both looking for relationships. The series stars Hank Azaria, Kathryn Hahn and Anthony Head.
