RULES OF ENGAGEMENT Secures Renewal From CBS

Upfronts season isn’t scheduled to officially start until next week, but the networks are already rolling out their decisions. According to The Hollywood Reporter, CBS’ RULES OF ENGAGEMENT is among those who will be celebrating good news, as the comedy has secured a renewal for the 2011-2012 television season.

Rules of Engagement, starring David Spade, has been bounced around by the network in mostly in mid-season slots in favor of other shows during its five year run. While it may not be the most popular show on the network, it has averaged more than a decent amount of viewers according to the ratings.

So far, Rules of Engagement is one of the only shows to secure a renewal confirmation. The rest of CBS’ line-up for the fall season will be unveiled on May 18th.
