Adam Arkin Bringing His Talents To THE CLOSER

Miss seeing Adam Arkin on your screen? TVGuide.com reports that the actor, best known for his roles in Chicago Hope and Sons of Anarchy, will be a guest star on an episode in the upcoming season of THE CLOSER.

The Closer stars Kyra Sedgwick as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, and Arkin will play a character named Steven Hirschbaum, a businessman who is being sued by his former employees and investors. While Arkin has been involved with The Closer before – he directed an episode of the show in 2009 – this is the first time he’ll be seen on camera. Currently, there is no air date for the episode, which is titled “To Serve with Love.”

Arkin’s other credits include 8 Simple Rules, Monk, The West Wing and the recently cancelled The Chicago Code. The Closer returns on Monday, July 11 with all new episodes on TNT.
