Will The Good Guys’ Colin Hanks Go Bad for DEXTER?

THE GOOD GUYS "Supercops"

Talk about switching gears. Colin Hanks, who was last seen by at least a couple people on FOX’s criminally underrated The Good Guys, is heading to DEXTER. Showtime has announced that Hanks will play Travis, a highly intelligent young expert on ancient artifacts who gets linked to a series of grisly murders in Miami, in all twelve episodes of the upcoming sixth season.

While Travis is being set up to at least appear shady, we don’t know if he will be an actual adversary of Dexter, though that would be very cool. Regardless, it doesn’t look like Hanks will be stepping into John Lithgow’s Trinity shoes as a Big Bad since Showtime president David Nevin has said this season “is not [about] one big bad. There’s one interesting story that will move through the season, and it will be cast very interestingly, but it’s not exactly that one person.”

Well, I’m intrigued. Do you think Travis will be shady or will he be the next person to suspect there’s more to Dexter to meet the eye? Are you starting to get anxious for the new season?

Season six of Dexter begins production next month and will premiere on Showtime this fall.
