Warren Leight Confirmed As New LAW & ORDER: SVU Boss

Law and Order SVU

Although there has yet to be an official announcement from NBC regarding the renewal of a 13th year for LAW & ORDER: SVU, things are looking good. According to TVLine, the series has confirmed that Warren Leight will take over next season as the show’s executive producer. Leight will succeed veteran showrunner Neal Baer.

Best known for being executive director on FX’s Lights Out and HBO’s In Treatment, Leight is no stranger to the Law & Order franchise, having previously worked on Criminal Intent for five years as an executive producer. Combined with the contract negotiations of stars Mariska Hargitay and Chris Meloni, chances are pretty good we can continue to see SVU on our screens next season.
