Oded Fehr to Return to COVERT AFFAIRS

Covert Affairs (USA)

While it feels like forever since USA’s COVERT AFFAIRS ended its first season last summer, the show is back in production and news about season 2 is beginning to trickle out. TV Guide reports that Oded Fehr is set to reprise his role as Mossad field agent Eyal Levine in the fourth episode of the new season.

Annie (Piper Perabo) and Eyal worked together in Zurich during last season’s “No Quarter” episode. This time around, though, Eyal may prove to be more of a complication–both to Annie’s mission and her life–than a help. In the episode, when a secretary in the Syrian embassy named Salma Devrient (guest star Helena Soubeyrand, Taken) falls behind on her rent after her fiancé leaves her, Annie is sent to Paris to cultivate the vulnerable woman as an asset. It’s not yet clear quite where Eyal fits in, though it sounds like he’s also trying to cultivate Salma as an asset.

Since his breakthrough role in The Mummy, Fehr has appeared on television in shows like Charmed and Sleeper Cell. He most recently recurred on V.

The second season of Covert Affairs premieres on USA Tuesday, June 7 at 10pm eastern/9 central.
