Vinessa Antoine to Recur on HAVEN

Vinessa Antoine

HAVEN continues to beef up its cast as it heads into a second season. Syfy and Entertainment (eOne) Television announced that Vinessa Antoine (Being Erica, Soul Food) has signed on for the recurring role of Evidence “Evi” Ryan.

A former con-artist and lover of Duke’s (Eric Balfour), “Evi” is as beautiful as she is calculating and clever. It is unknown in how many episodes Antoine will appear or how she will be introduced.

As previously announced, Jason Priestley (who stars in, directs and produces the eOne Television international hit dark comedy Call Me Fitz) will also join Haven this season to direct one episode and guest star in a four-episode story arc. Antoine and Priestley will join Emily Rose, who plays Audrey Parker, a former FBI agent with a knack for investigating the supernatural; Lucas Bryant, who plays Nathan Wuornos, a handsome local cop with his own supernatural affliction; and Balfour, who plays Duke Crocker, a local smuggler and reluctant aide in solving Haven‘s troubles.

Based on Stephen King’s ‘The Colorado Kid,’ Haven officially begins production on season 2 April 1 with an expected summer premiere.
