Jay Mohr to Play Charlie Sheen Type on LAW & ORDER: CI

The Law & Order shows have always borrowed storylines from the headlines, and while the Charlie Sheen media frenzy has faded, Law & Order: Criminal Intent still finds him inspiring. TV Line reports that Jay Mohr will guest star in the USA crime drama as a famous and very successful bad boy.

While Mohr’s Charlie Sheen-esque character, Nyle Brite, is a “rock star” fashion designer instead of an actor, his reputation for loving cocaine and call girls which only helps his career sounds very Sheen-like. The episode, called “Rispetto,” will involve the murder of a guest at one of Brite’s infamous parties.

Noelle Beck (As the World Turns) will also appear in the episode (this season’s tenth) as Nyle’s wife, who has stood by her man and his activities for twenty years. Apparently she has some secrets of her own.

Mohr most recently starred as the title character in Gary Unmarried. He also guest starred on NBC’s short-lived Outlaw this season.

The tenth and final season of Law & Order: Criminal Intent premieres on USA Sunday, May 1 at 9pm eastern/8 central.
