Michael Chiklis Signs on for VINCE UNCENSORED

NO ORDINARY FAMILY (ABC) - No Ordinary Anniversary

Michael Chiklis has been chosen to star in CBS’ comedy pilot VINCE UNCENSORED. According to Deadline.com, the pilot centers on a man (Chiklis) who, after a life-changing experience, decides to take a more honest approach to his life, work and family. The script is written by Phoef Sutton who also will executive produce, along with Conan O’Brien and David Kissinger. The project comes from O’Brien’s Conaco and Warner Bros. Television.

Chiklis currently stars in and co-executive produces ABC’s No Ordinary Family, which just wrapped production and took down sets. Vince Uncensored is in second position to Chiklis’ obligations to No Ordinary Family. Deadline.com states that the actor was planning to sit out this pilot season; but he was offered two comedy pilots by CBS, one of them being Vince Uncensored. Because half-hour comedy pilots start production later than dramas, this pilot was technically a viable option.

Prior to starring in No Ordinary Family, Chiklis starred in the comedic drama The Commish, the comedy Daddio, and The Shield for which he won an Emmy.

ABC’s No Ordinary Family airs on Tuesdays at 8 pm.
