Kyle Bornheimer Signs on for COUNCIL OF DADS

Perfect Couples - Kyle Bornheimer

Kyle Bornheimer will co-star in Fox’s comedy pilot COUNCIL OF DADS, written by Peter Tolan and directed by Anthony and Joe Russo. The show is inspired by New York Times best selling author Bruce Feiler’s nonfiction book, The Council of Dads: My Daughters, My Illness, and the Men Who Could Be Me. As Deadline.com details, the comedy tells the story of Michael who “just before he dies enlists five of his guy friends from all aspects of his life to become a “council of dads” to his two young children.” Bornheimer will play the fun, but at times inappropriate, dad on the council. He is a loud and larger than life friend of Michael’s from childhood. Bornheimer will join Diane Farr, Patrick Breen and Ken Howard, who were previously cast.

Bornheimer’s first role as a series regular was in Worst Week on CBS. He is currently co-starring in NBC’s midseason series Perfect Couples. His acting talents on this NBC show technically are in first position over his services to second position Council of Dads.
